VICTOR MOORE
Moore sends a note on a 3¾x2 card
Autograph note signed: "To John H. Harter/Yours for fun/Victor Moore"", 3¾x2 card. Vaudeville and legitimate stage performer Victor Moore (1876-1962) first appeared in silent films in 1915. He excelled in character roles in the 1930s and 1940s, typically portraying bumbling, helpless little men, such as the Vice President in Gershwin's 1932 Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Of Thee I Sing. Irregularly cut. Unevenly toned. Slightly smudged at "r" of Victor. Overall, fine condition.
