Original Art inscribed and signed: "For John/Victoria Hopper", 9¼x12. Drawn and signed in pencil. Canadian stage and screen actress and singer Victoria Hopper (1909-2007) starred in several films of the 1930s, including Lorna Doone (1934), Scotland Yard Command (1936) and The Mill on the Floss (1937). A frequent star of London theatre, Hopper toured tirelessly to entertain British troops during World War II. Her first of two marriages was to English director/producer Basil Dean. Lightly creased at all edges and corners. Minor foxing lower right quadrant. Residue from previous mounting on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
