Hill, born in Coventry, England in 1937, was a heartthrob singer in the United Kingdom in the 1960s. His hits include a cover of Edelweiss from The Sound of Music, which peaked just short of No. 1 on the UK charts in 1967, as well as Take Me to Your Heart Again (1966), Merci Cherie (1966) and Look Around and You'll Find Me (1971), written for the movie Love Story. He singing professionally in a local pub when he was 15 and decided to make it a career after he was called up for his National Service military duty. He sang with the Royal Corps of Signals and, after returning to civilian life, with Teddy Foster's big band. Hill switched to pop when he joined the Raindrops in 1960, but didn't score his first success until after leaving the group in 1962. His popularity peaked in the 1960s, but he remained popular on British TV and continued to perform. Lightly toned and creased. Folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
