Check signed: "Vincent Lombardi", 8¼x3. Green Bay, Wisconsin, 1959 December 16. Drawn on the Kellogg-Citizens National Bank, payable to Dan Currie for $100. Endorsed on verso: "Dan Currie". Vince Lombardi (1913-1970) coached the Green Bay Packers from 1959-1967. He accumulated an 89-29-4 record, including five NFL Titles and the first two Super Bowl crowns. The Super Bowl Trophy is named in his memory. Former NFL linebacker Dan Currie (b.1935) played 6 seasons with Lombardi's Packers from 1958 to 1964, winning two Super Bowls. Chosen by the legendary Jack Vainisi in the 1st round of the 1958 NFL Draft, Currie also played a brief season with the Los Angeles Rams following his departure from Green Bay. He was an All-Pro in 1961 and was featured on the cover of the December 1961 edition of Sports Illustrated. He was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1984. Processing stamps.
