McKenna played the role of Valerie Barton in this play. A British actress who debuted on stage in 1950 and film two years later, Virginia McKenna (born in 1931) is best known for her roles in high quality animal films co-starring her husband Bill Travers: Born Free, 1966, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe; and Ring of Bright Water (1969). She won a British Academy Award for A Town Like Alice (1956). Her most recent feature film was Sliding Doors (1998). Binder hole in upper left.
