VITALI KLITSCHKO and WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO. Photograph signed: "W Klitschko" and "Vitali/Klitschko". Color, 10x8. Names written (unknown hand) in ink on verso. Ukrainian boxer VITALI KLITSCHKO (born in 1971), known as "Dr. Iron Fist", was a professional kickboxer before becoming a boxer in 1996. The previous year, he won the Super Heavyweight Championship at the first World Military Games in Italy and took home a silver medal at the World Amateur Boxing Championships in Berlin. As of January 2007, Vitali has a record of 35 wins (34 by KOs) and two losses, and his titles include WBO World Heavyweight Champion (1999-2000) and WBC World Heavyweight Champion (2004-2005). As of January 2007, WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO (born in 1976), Vitali's younger brother, is the current IBF and IBO World Heavyweight Champion (since April 2006). Also the WBO World Heavyweight Champion (2000-2003), Wladimir has a record of 47 wins (42 by KOs) and three losses since turning professional. The winner of the Super-Heavyweight Gold Medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics, Wladimir, a major celebrity in his adopted country of Germany, moved to Beverly Hills with Vitali in 2004. Both brothers are avid chess players, and Wladimir has also appeared in a film (Ocean's Eleven, in a sparring match with Lennox Lewis). Minor surface creases (not evident head on). Fine condition.
