luck/from/Vivian/Austin", in black ink. B/w 8x10. Hollywood native,
Vivian Austin (1920-2004) was selected "Miss Hollywood" in 1943and then Universal Pictures signed her, trained her with little theater
groups in the area and then put her in films. Her first credit was Moonlight
in Vermont (1943) and then in 1944: Sing a Jingle, Hi, Good
Lookin!, Moon Over Las Vegas, Cobra Woman, Boss of
Boomtown, Trigger Trail and Destiny. Her last credit was in
Stepchild (1947). Austin suffered health problems that led to blindness -
forcing a very early retirement. Creased - most not visible head-on. Corners
creased and worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
