Also signed by the artist who drew and framed the piece. Collection comprises: 1) Printed Art Signed: “V. Horowitz/ 1980 San Diego”. 6½x7¾. Fine condition. 2) Printed Art Signed: “M. Rostropovich”. 13x6½. Fine condition. 3) Printed Art Signed: “Isaac Stern/ 1980”. 7¼x7¾. Fine condition. Signed and stamped on inner matting board by artist “Quinn Mizer”, edition 8/25. All three of these classical music performers took the stage for the San Diego Symphony in 1979 or 1980. VLADIMIR HOROWITZ (1903-1989) was a pianist and composer. Considered one of the greatest pianists of all time, he earned 25 Grammy Awards throughout his career, and he received a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1986. MSTISTLAV ROSTROPOVICH (1927-2007) was a cellist and conductor. Born in Azerbaijan SSR, he frequently clashed with the Soviet regime over his advocacy for democracy and freedom of speech. His Soviet citizenship was revoked in 1978. He collaborated with composers to increase the repertoire for cello players significantly. ISAAC STERN (1920-2001) was born in Ukraine, but moved to the United States with his family when he was 14 months old. The violinist and conductor earned a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992. QUINN MIZER (1942-1981) was a Native American artist and painter. Lamination spots throughout. Otherwise, fine condition. Framed, not in the Gallery of History style: 34¾x27¼.
