(1899-1984) was a mainstay on the pitching staff of the great Yankee teams of
the 1920s. In 1927, the year Babe Ruth hit 60 home runs, he was 22-7, led
the AL in wins, ERA (2.63) and winning percentage (.759). Three
signatures. Lightly creased with fold, not at signatures. "Paid" stamp on
front at "Hoyt" on payee line, light show through of bank stamps on vrso at the
"e" of Waite on Payee line. Fine condition.
