This light romantic comedy finds Victoria (Anne Jackson) as the 34-year-old wife of public-relations man Tom Layton (Patrick O'Neal). Tom's biggest client is a big movie star (Walter Matthau), and Tom drops everything to insure that, while in New York, his client is surrounded by beautiful women. Victoria wonders if she's lost her youthful beauty and seeks out the virile Matthau to assure her she indeed still has what it takes. Walter Matthau (1920-2000) won the1966 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as lawyer "Whiplash" Willie Gingrich in The Fortune Cookie. He was also nominated for Best Actor Oscars for Kotch and The Sunshine Boys. He co-starred with Jack Lemmon in 11 films, including The Fortune Cookie, two Odd Couples and two Grump(ier) Old Men.
