WALTER WOOLF KING
The Marx Brothers villainous actor signs name in blue ink
Signature: "Walter Woolf" in blue ink. 5x3 index card. Known more for his stage roles as opposed to his film roles, Walter Woolf King (1899-1984) began his career as a singer, landing roles on Broadway with his baritone voice. However, he did have some success in films as a villain, most notably in the Marx Brothers films A Night at the Opera (1935) and Go West (1940). After acting for several years, King instead turned toward the more profitable business of being an actor's agent, only reappearing a small number of times to portray aristocrats and big bosses. Toned and soiled. Corners rounded. Stained along edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
