WARREN SPAHN
The Hall of Fame Braves pitcher signs a baseball and a Hall of Fame plaque postcard, both mounted in the Gallery of History style on a 12½x6¼x2 pedestal.
Comprises: (1) Hall of Fame Postcard signed: "Warren Spahn". Color, 3½x5½. Enclosed in 4½x7 case. Fine condition. (2) Baseball signed: "Warren Spahn". Official Rawlings William D. White National League baseball. Slightly soiled and yellowed. Overall, fine condition. In 3x3x3 case. Hall of Famer Warren Spahn (1921-2003) won 363 major league games, more games than any lefthander in baseball history. The winningest left-handed pitcher of all time, and possibly the best as well, he was a complete player who helped himself at bat and in the field. Spahn, who was the mainstay of the Braves' pitching staff for two decades, won 20 games a ML record-tying 13 times, and he pitched two no-hitters and led the NL in strikeouts four consecutive years. Spahn was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973. Two items. Both items mounted in the Gallery of History style on a 12½x6¼x2 pedestal.
