WAY...WAY OUT CAST: ANITA EKBERG and CONNIE STEVENS

Photograph signed: "Anita Ekberg" and "Connie Stevens" in black ink. Sepia, 8x10. Promotional photograph from the film Way...Way Out (1966). A former Miss Sweden, ANITA EKBERG (1931-2015), displayed her obvious attributes in such Technicolor films as Artists and Models (1956) and Hollywood or Bust (1957), and she proved an apt foil for the leering one-liners of Bob "Cherchez la Femme" Hope in Paris Holiday (1957) and Call Me Bwana (1963). Though never taken completely seriously as an actress, Ekberg, who was known as "The Iceberg", was given better opportunities to emote in the Italian films of Federico Fellini, notably as the principal "wish dream" in La Dolce Vita (1961). Ekberg would reprise her La Dolce Vita role in Fellini's 1986 film autobiography, Intervista. CONNIE STEVENS, born in 1938, is a versatile singer/actress whose successes include a #1 hit record, "16 Reasons" (1961), the role of bar singer Cricket Blake in the TV series Hawaiian Eye (1959-1963) and a variety of film roles, including Grease 2 (1982). Stevens has been married to and divorced from actor James Stacy (1963-1966) and singer/actor Eddie Fisher (1967-1969). She had two daughters with Fisher - actresses Joely Fisher (born in 1967) and Tricia Leigh Fisher (born in 1968). Slightly toned. Light surface creases. Corners rounded and creases. Pencil notes on verso in unknown hand. Otherwise, fine condition.
