WAYNE BRADY
The Whose Line Is It Anyway? comedian signs his name on a
8x10¾ cover of Where magazine.
Magazine signed: "Thanks for the/support/Wayne/Brady", in
black felt tip, 49 pages, Color 8x10¾. Las Vegas, January 2009. Actor, singer,
and popular comedian Wayne Brady (b. 1972) is best known for his work on
the American version of the hit improvisational comedy Whose Line Is It
Anyway? (1998). Brady was born to West Indian parents in Columbus,
Georgia, but moved to Florida where he was raised by his grandmother and aunt.
He had an interest in acting at a young age, performing in community theater
and improve groups in the Orlando area, and eventually leaving Florida to pursue
acting in Los Angeles, California. His big break in the acting world came in
1998, performing on the British version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
when it was filming it's last season of the show in California. His work on
the original British version helped secure him a position on the new American
version, where he was a consistent regular, appearing in 191 episodes of the 199
episode series. He was a crowd favorite due in part to his sensational
singing and dancing skills. Brady was also a critic favorite, winning an Emmy
Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety, Musical
or Comedy Series, the first to do so for work on a television
series. After Whose Line ended, the
performer landed his own variety show and daytime talk show, both named
The Wayne Brady Show. The talk show would win him four Daytime
Emmys, two of them in honor of his hosting skills. Currently, Brady still
works in television and film, making a countless number of guest, starring, and
hosting appearances. Bottom right corner creased. Light surface creasing.
