The actor who starred in M*A*S*H for three seasons signed this black and white photograph that features him wearing a suit and paisley tie
Inscribed Photograph signed: "Sara / Keep up the good work / and stay in school- / Wayne Rogers" in black felt tip, b/w, 8x10. Best known as "Trapper" John McIntyre in the acclaimed TV version of M*A*S*H (1972-1983), Wayne Rogers (1933-2015) left the series after three seasons (1972-1975) because he thought his character wasn't being sufficiently developed. A veteran of four other television shows, including House Calls (1979-1982), he has also appeared in many television movies and the occasional big screen film, such as Ghosts of Mississippi (1996). Known for his shrewd financial dealings in his later years, Rogers devoted himself to money management plans. He invested in condominiums, convenience stores, thoroughbred horses, and even a vineyard during his financial management career. He frequently appeared on the investment program Cashin' In and other financial news shows until his death. Ink note in an unknown hand on verso (no show-through). Otherwise, fine condition.
