Movie still from the lavish 1964 musical comedy starring MacLaine as a wealthy widow whose husbands keep dying on her. Kelly plays one of the ill-fated husbands. Innovative dancer/choreographer Gene Kelly (1912-1996) was a major 1950s and 1960s star in MGM musicals such as Singin' in the Rain (1952). He received a special Academy Award in 1951 "in appreciation of his versatility as an actor, singer, director and dancer, and specially for his brilliant achievements in the art of choreography on film". Singer and actress Shirley Mac Laine won an Oscar for her part in Terms of Endearment (1983), one of her five Academy Award nominations. While continuing in films, Mac Laine has emerged as a popular author promoting New Age spiritual ideas. Fine condition.
