Henry Strong. Will Inman (1923-2009) first began writing poetry after becoming an
activist following World War II. Initially, he worked at republishing the works of classic
poets and authors, only publishing his own poems in 1964 with 108 Verges Until Now.
Not long after, he was appointed Poet-In-Residence at American University, teaching both
there and at Montgomery College. His next publication was Surfing the Dark Sound in
1998. He took a long break from publishing once again until 2005. In 2009, Inman passed
away after suffering from Parkinson's disease, having been an activist for anti-war and gay
rights efforts even in his final years. Corners lightly worn and creased. Normal mailing folds.
Gently creased throughout. Otherwise, fine condition.
