in his Emmy Award-winning role of Dr. Mark Craig on the TV series, St.
Elsewhere. In 1986, William Daniels (b.1927) and his wife,
actress Bonnie Bartlett, made Emmy history when each won an Emmy Award for
their roles on St. Elsewhere (as Mark and Ellen Craig). The Tony
Award-nominated leading man and character actor (John Adams in 1776,
1969) has enjoyed a long and successful career on the stage, in films and on
television. Among his screen credits are A Thousand Clowns, The
Graduate, 1776 (reprising his Broadway role), Oh, God!, The
Blue Lagoon and Reds. In addition to starring in St.
Elsewhere, Daniels' television credits include Knight Rider (as the
voice of K.I.T.T.) and Boy Meets World, as well as guest appearances on
The Incredible Hulk, Cannon, Ironside, The Bob Newhart
Show, The Rockford Files, Quincy and The Simpsons.
Daniels also served as President of the Screen Actors Guild from
1999-2001. Fine condition.
