Typed Letter signed: "Bill Condon", 1 page, 8x10½. Albany, New
York, no date. On his official letterhead as Chairman of the New York State
Senate's Committee on Insurance to "Dear Jerry", in full:
"Eleanor tells me that you would like an autographed photograph, I am
pleased to enclose herewith, my picture duly signed. [Item not included.]
Cordially". William F. Condon (b. 1897), a US Navy veteran of
World War I, served in the New York State Assembly (1928-1935) and Senate
(1939-1964), with an intervening term as Westchester County Register
(1836-1838). Condon, a Republican, had previously served as a deputy
sheriff. Mounting residue on verso. Corners lightly creased and worn. Corner
mounts present at top right corner and bottom left corner. Minor unknown residue
near bottom right edge (not affecting signature). Otherwise, fine
condition.
