Signature: "Garnett Duncan/Louisville/Kentucky", 3¾x1¼. A
native of Louisville, William Garnett Duncan (1800-1875) served as a Whig
in the U.S. Congress from 1847-1849. The Yale graduate practiced law in
Louisville and then New Orleans, where he moved in 1850, until retiring in 1860.
Lightly creased, slightly soiled. Irregular left edge from removal from bound
book. Otherwise, fine condition.
