William H. Barton, Jr., was curator of New York City's Hayden Planetarium, which opened its doors in 1935. Barton was an influential popularize of scientific concepts, and the author of An Introduction to Celestial Navigation (1942). Toned. Edges and corners lightly worn. Ink lightly smeared on verso.
