In full: "Thank you very much for your note about past presidents becoming ex officio members of the council. Shirer(1904-1993), an American journalist, novelist and historian, is best known for his 1960 work, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany, which won the National Book Award in the non-fiction category in 1961. Shirer, a veteran foreign correspondent who had been stationed in Berlin until 1940, is also the model for the correspondent Walker in the film Gandhi. He was the first of "Murrow's Boys", the elite team of CBS reporters, recruited by Edward R. Murrow, who set the standard broadcast journalism. Anne Edwards is the author of many biographies, ranging from Princess Diana to Ronald Reagan. The Authors Guild provides free business and legal advice to members, and has waged class action legal battles with Google, Amazon, and Simon & Schuster. Normal mailing folds. Ink stamp.
