The oldest son of the newspaper magnate, William Randolph Hearst, Jr.
(1908-1993) spent 40 years as Editor-in-Chief of the Hearst newspaper chain
and won the 1956 Pulitzer Prize for international reporting for a series of
exclusive interviews with world leaders. He built the Hearst Corp. into the
largest publisher of magazines in the world and was the owner of 26 TV stations
and 12 daily newspapers at the time of his death. Ink slightly smudged at
the upper loop of the "W". Paper clip impression at upper blank margin. Ink and
pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso (no show through). Fine
condition.
