In full: "It was marvelous to see you both yesterday and to see the Brat looking so well. Gosh, Boy, I'm pleased to see you are really in such fine shape for your season. Watch every move you make so you keep your condition as it is. I am working hard on the book again. Please, Marion don't forget to bring me one complete set of carbons from 1 to the last sheet typed & the original of the last batch typed next Sunday. I am writing this precisely Brat to wish you luck against Bobby Percy & remind you to start to run him in the very first point & never let up no matter how far ahead you get. I'll try to drop a line later in the week but thanks a million to you both for everything, Love to Mrs. Phillips & both of you."
