Color, 8x10. Willie Nelson (born 1933) started his career by writing hit
songs for other performers; his most memorable include "Funny How Time Slips
Away," "Night Life," and Crazy," which became a huge hit for Patsy Cline.
Nelson's 1975 album, Red Headed Stranger, which included the song "Blue
Eyes Crying in the Rain," made him a star in his own right, and he became a
popular concert performer as well as a star in such films as The Electric
Horseman (1979) and Honeysuckle Rose (1980). In the 1980s, Nelson
organized annual Farm Aid festivals to raise money for farmers.His
classic albums include Shotgun Willie, Phases and Stages, and
Stardust. His Wanted-The Outlaws was the first
million-selling country album. Minor smudge at "l" of "Arlo," else fine
condition.
