THE WIZARD OF OZ MOVIE CAST: TINY DOLL and MARGARET PELLEGRINI
The Munchkins Tiny Doll and Margaret Pellegrini sign the script for The Wizard of Oz

Script signed: "Tiny Doll" and "Munchkin Love/Margaret Pellegrini", 112 pages, 8½X11. Typed date: "Oct 11, 1938". TINY DOLL (1914-2004), who was also billed as Tiny Earles, was born Ella A. Schneider in Germany. Tiny was the last surviving member of the famous Doll family, which included her brother, Harry Earles (1902-1985), who played a Lollipop Guild singer in the 1939 film, and sisters, Daisy Earles (1907-1980) and Gracie Doll (who died in 1970). All three Doll sisters played Munchkin villagers. MARGARET PELLEGRINI (1923-2013), born Margaret Williams, was 3 feet, nine inches tall when she appeared as a Munchkin. Billed as "Woman in a Blue Flowerpot Hat/Sleepyhead", she received a salary of $50 a week. Pellegrini, who eventually grew to four feet tall, later appeared in two feature films, Johnny Got His Gun (1971) and I Married a Munchkin (1994, as Sleepyhead). In 1999, sixty years after The Wizard of Oz was released, she appeared in a production of Oz in Massachusetts. Slightly soiled. 3 file holes at blank left margins, chipped at upper blank left edge to left of file hole. Overall, fine condition.
