Originally a standup comic and TV comedy writer, Woody Allen (b. 1935) became a celebrated filmmaker, first with light comedies such as Take the Money and Run (1969), and later with sophisticated comedies and dramas including Annie Hall (which earned him a Best Director Oscar in 1977). Other critically acclaimed Allen films include Interiors (1978), Manhattan (1979), Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and Bullets Over Broadway (1994). Corners lightly worn and creased.
