B/w 10¼x8. Originally a standup comic and TV comedy writer, Woody Allen
(b. 1935) became a celebrated filmmaker, first with light comedies such as
Take the Money and Run (1969), and later with sophisticated comedies and
dramas including Annie Hall (which earned him a Best Director Oscar in
1977). Other critically acclaimed Allen films include Interiors (1978),
Manhattan (1979), Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and Bullets
Over Broadway (1994). Corners lightly worn and creased. Small tear on
bottom margin. Stray ink mark on left edge. Light surface scratches and
striations (not seen head on). Light surface scratches. Small stain on bottom
left corner. Edges slightly creased. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso.
