Both stars sign the cover of a laser disc edition of the classic film.

CBS/Fox Laser Videodisc edition of The Young Lions, the 1958 film based on Irwin Shaw's novel of World War II. Dean Martin stars (along with Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift and others) as soldiers at war. Martin plays a reluctant recruit, shamed into leaving a promising entertainment career by Barbara Rush, playing Clift's girlfriend. The film was nominated for three Oscars. MARTIN (1917-1995) formed a popular comedy duo with Jerry Lewis in the 1950s. Often linked in films and Las Vegas nightclubs with his "Rat Pack" buddies, Martin also recorded over 100 albums and 500 songs, including favorites "That's Amore" and "Volare", and his signature tune, "Everybody Loves Somebody". His TV variety show, The Dean Martin Show, ran for a decade (1965-1974). Stage, screen and television actress RUSH (1927-2024) won the Golden Globe for New Star of the Year - Female in 1953, the year she appeared in It Came From Outer Space. She had previously gotten the attention of male audience members in When Worlds Collide (1951) and would later appear in such films as The Magnificent Obsession (1954), The Young Philadelphians (1959), Robin and the 7 Hoods (1964) and Hombre (1967). Her television credits include a number of TV movies, regular roles on such series as Peyton Place (1968-1969), Flamingo Road (1981-1982) and All My Children (1992-1993). Lightly worn at corners.
