identifying him as a Counselor to the Center for Strategic and International
Studies, Washington, D.C. (affiliated with Georgetown University). Born in
Poland (1928) but a U.S. citizen since 1958, Brzezinski taught world politics
and Soviet studies at Harvard and Columbia Universities. An advisor to the
Kennedy and Johnson administrations, he became President Carter's National
Security Advisor (1977-1981). He also served as first director (1973) of
the Trilateral Commission, an assembly of politicians, business leaders and
academics from North America, Europe and Japan dedicated to improving relations
among the regions but accused by critics on the far left and far right of
seeking world domination. Since leaving government, Brzezinski remains actively
engaged as a writer, consultant and teacher. Fine condition.
