Orchestra, 1949 January 21-21, featuring Zino Francescatti as violin soloist.
Signed on front cover. Zino Francescatti (1902-1991) was a legendary
violinist. At ten years of age he played the Beethoven violin concerto with
an orchestra. He went to Paris in 1927 to teach violin at the Ecole Normale de
Musique. Francescatti's first world tour concerts were in 1931 and 1939.
His American debut was in 1939 with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
One-fourth-inch tear at upper left corner of cover. "ra" of signature slightly
smudged. Otherwise, fine condition.
