Zohra Lampert (b. 1937) achieved cult status as a popular low-budget horror
film star, but never broke through to stardom. She appeared with Natalie
Wood and Warren Beatty inSplendor in the Grass(1961) as well as horror
films includingLet's Scare Jessica to Death(1971)andThe Exorcist III(1990). Her television work includes The Girl with Something Extra(1973-1974) and Doctor's Hospital(1975-1976). She received two Tony
award nominations for her Broadway performances in Look We've Come
Through (1961) and Mother Courage and Her Children (1963). She received
praise for her roles, particularly in Splendor in the Grass and Let's Scare Jessica
to Death, but they never led to bona fide stardom. Fine condition.
