The fighter ace signs this white card in black ink
Signature: "Maj. Alden Rigby/ 352nd Ftr. Gp." 3½x2. Al Rigby (1923-2015), who flew 76
combat missions (a total of 272 combat hours), became an ace while serving with the
487th Fighter Squadron, 352nd Fighter Group, based at Bodney, England. On January 1,
1945, Rigby was one of twelve pilots in the "Legend of Y-29 Mission", shooting down two
Me-109s and two FW-190s. Rigby later served three years of active duty during the
Korean conflict with the Air Division in the Air Defense Command. Fine condition.
