This page was signed to EMILE LaVIGNE (1913-1990), who (1913-1990) was a movie make-up artist for almost 100 movies and TV shows between 1939 and 1980, including The Wizard of Oz (1939), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), The Magnificent Seven (1960), The Great Escape (1963), The Satan Bug (1965), The President's Analyst (1967) and With Six You Get Eggroll (1968). LaVigne was also makeup artist on one movie by Hawn, The Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox (1976). CLORIS LEACHMAN (1926-2021) has consistently demonstrated her versatility in films and on television since the 1950s. Her films include Kiss Me Deadly (1955), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), The Last Picture Show (1971), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, Young Frankenstein (1974) and Deadly Intentions (1985). On TV, Leachman has appeared in Lassie, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and her own series, Phyllis. She has won three Emmy Awards and continues to make TV, stage and film appearances, including a turn as Granny in the film version of The Beverly Hillbillies (1993). As Joan Crawford's schizophrenic boyfriend in Autumn Leaves (1955), CLIFF ROBERTSON (1923-2011) achieved the critical acceptance that would enable him to seek out choice film roles. In 1963, he became the first American actor to portray a living American president when he was selected to play John F. Kennedy in PT 109. Robertson was universally applauded for his grueling performance as an alcoholic in the 1958 TV staging of Days of Wine and Roses. Having lost the film version of Wine and Roses to Jack Lemmon, he made certain that he'd star in the film adaptation of his 1961 TV drama The Two Worlds of Charly Gordon (itself an adaptation of the short story Flowers for Algernon) by buying up the story rights. The result was the 1968 film Charly, in which Robertson played a retarded adult turned into a genius by a scientific experiment - for which he won an Academy Award. Multi-talented, ditzy blonde GOLDIE HAWN, born in 1945,first received national attention as a dancer on Laugh-In (1968-70), the innovative comedy-variety show hosted by Dan Rowan and Dick Martin. In 1969, she made her acting debut as Walter Matthau's bohemian mistress in Cactus Flower, winning the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Later that year, Hawn starred with Peter Sellers in There's a Girl in My Soup (1970) before showing her talent for drama in Butterflies are Free (1972) and Sugarland Express (1973). Hawn later starred in Private Benjamin (1980, for which she received a Best Actress Oscar nomination), Protocol (1984). The First Wives Club (1996), The Out-of-Towners (1999) and The Banger Sisters (2002). Hawn is the mother of actress Kate Hudson. Lightly bowed and creased. Stains on page, which touch signatures.
