Check signed: "David Hedison", in black felt tip, 8½x3. August 27, 1970. Check no. 4195 drawn from the account of David Hedison at Bank of America in Beverley Hills, California. Payable for $9.60 to Arrowhead Puritas Waters (not endorsed on verso). Counter signed: "Carle Coulter" in blue ink (merits further research). David Hedison (1927-2019) starred as Captain Lee Crane on the TV series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, which aired from 1964-1968. Born Albert David Hedison, Jr., the actor was credited as Al Hedison until 1959, when he appeared in the TV series, Five Fingers (1959-1960). Hedison, who won the Theatre World Award for his Broadway debut in Much Ado About Nothing, appeared in many feature films, including The Fly (1958, as Al Hedison) and The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), as well as the Bond movies Live and Let Die (1973) and License to Kill (1989). He has also appeared in a number of made-for-TV movies, been a regular cast member of two daytime soaps, Another World (1991-1996, 1999) and The Young and the Restless (2004), and made numerous guest appearances. Top edge perforated. Ink bank stamps throughout. Bank cancellation punctures in left margin. Corners rounded. Otherwise, fine condition.
