Actress DIANA CHURCHILL (1913-1994) began as a stage actress but had more success as a film actress, appearing in films like Foreign Affaires (1935), Jane Steps Out (1938), and Scott of the Antarctic (1948). She began appearing in television in the late 1950's, but by the end of the 1960's had mostly retired from acting. IRENE VANBRUGH (1872-1948) was a major British stage actress, particularly prominent in the plays of Peter Pan author J. M. Barrie. She played supporting roles in ten films of the 1930s, and was named a Dame Commander of the British Empire in 1941. British actor GRIFFITH JONES (born in London in 1910) made his film debut in Money Talks (1932) and went on to appear in a long list of feature films, including The Rise of Catherine the Great (1934), This Was Paris (1942), Miranda (1948), Strangler's Web (1965) and Decline and Fall...of a Birdwatcher (1968). After making his TV debut on an episode of The New Adventures of Martin Kane in 1957, Jones guest starred on a number of other series, including Invisible Man (1959), Kraft Mystery Theater (1961), Danger Man (1965), The Avengers (1968) and Black Arrow (1972), and he also appeared in made-for-TV movies, including Macbeth (1979), and miniseries. Jones was last seen in the 1982 TV miniseries, The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. File holes at upper margin. Fine condition.
