Photograph signed: "Frank G. Slaughter". B/w, 4¼x5½. Frank Gill Slaughter (1908-2001) was a physician and bestselling novelist who wrote under the pen name of C.V. Terry. His books, which have sold over 60 million copies, reflect his interest in history and the Biblical world and they often introduced readers to new findings in medical research and technology. A number of his novels, including The Warrior, Sangaree and Doctors' Wives, were made into feature films. Slaughter published his last novel, No Greater Love, in 1985. Slightly worn at corners. Fine condition.
