Autograph Sentiment Signed: “Yours truly/ G.H. Chirgwin/ 17.7.10”. 3x2. Dated July 17,
1910. George H. Chirgwin (1854-1922) was an English music hall performer who played
music, sang in falsetto, and used blackface. A distinct feature of the latter part of his show
was the diamond-shaped space around one eye that he did not paint black. Film credits
include The Blind Boy (1917) ad Chirgwin Plays a Scotch Reel (1896). Irregular cut.
