Autograph Letter signed: "Greg Walcott", 1 page, 8½x11. January 13, 1986. On ZORBA (play) corporation letterhead, in full: "Dear Friends of the American Museum of Historical Documents. I am honored to be included in the collection of this fine museum. I have had major roles in 60 motion pictures and approximately 300 television episodes, including the N.B.C. 87th Precinct which I was one of the co-stars, along with Norman Fell, Ron harper and Robert Lossing. My first film was Red Skies of Montana (704) 1951. I was so bad in the film, it was years before they would consider me for another role!! A couple years later I became very serious swith my acting and fot into a group tangent by Rod Stiger. My favorite role was my co-starring role with Tony Curtis in a film entitled The Outsider(Universal). Sincerely." Actor Gregory Walcott (1928-2015) was a popular television star of the 50's and 60's, mainly in westerns such as Wagon Train (1957-1960), The Rifle Man (1958-1959), Rawhide (1960-1964) and Bonanza (1960-1972). Considered amongst the best of tall, dark and handsome Hollywood actors, Walcott was discovered by a talent agent while working in a small play. Since 1952 he's appeared in 109 films and television shows, including The Sugarland Express (1974), Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959) Dallas (1980-1990) and Ed Wood (1994) which was his last on screen performance. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
