Set in Poland in 1944, Jakob the Liar was the first American feature directed by Peter Kassovitz. The film starred Robin Williams, who was nominated for a 2000 Razzie Award for Worst Actor for his role as Jakob Heym, a shop keeper who gives hope to his neighbor by making up false reports of an impending victory over the Germans. Slightly creased at blank corners, light black mark at upper left corner. Fine condition.
