In full: "You invited me to come to Le Touquet on August 25th but today is precisely August 25th. I am ready to leave Le Touquet in a few days (I do not know exactly what day) and therefore I think that it will be better we do our work in Paris. I will be there all through the month of September, I think. My plans are never exactly organized in advance. In any case it seems that Paris is better suited than Le Touquet is as a setting for our endeavors. Do you remember what address you sent the letter in which were enclosed the 20 enlargements? Is it the address of my secretarial office, 9 rue de Duras, Paris 8eme? For the moment my Paris office is closed; everybody is on vacation. It will reopen September 1st. At that time I want to do studies regarding the 20 enlargements which are strewn about. We will surely find them. Yours in friendship."
