KATE JACKSON
Actress Kate Jackson signed this contract with Spelling-Goldbert Productions to appear in the 1974 TV movie Death Cruise. Jackson is probably best known for her performance as Sabrina Duncan in another Spelling-Goldberg show, Charlie's Angels.
Contract signed "Kate Jackson" as Playerand by a vice president of Aaron Spelling Productions. 2 pages, 8½x11, 1 sheet, front and verso, two binder holes at top edge. Aug. 19, 1974. Jackson signed this contract to appear in a Spelling-Goldberg production titled The Cruise. She was to receive $10,000 for 10 days work. This is apparently a contract for the 1974 TV movie Death Cruise. That year, Jackson also appeared as Jill Danko on The Rookies and in the TV movie Killer Bees. Her best known role came from Spelling-Goldberg Productions two years after he signed this contract, as Sabrina Duncan in Charlie's Angels. American actress Jackson, born in 1949, broke into television as Jill Danko on The Rookies (1973-1976). Full stardom arrived for her when she was cast as Sabrina Duncan, "the smart one", on the prime time hit series Charlie's Angels; she remained with the show from 1976 through 1979. Jackson's last regular weekly TV effort was Scarecrow and Mrs. King (1983-1987), in which she played an average housewife who moonlighted as a secret agent. Dark Shadows fans remember her as Daphne Harridge, whose ghost haunted Collinswood and who was an integral part of the show's time travel adventures. Lightly toned and creased. Staple holes in top left corner. Lightly rounded and creased corners. Folded twice and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
