Ink note (unknown hand): 1952. Lilly Morris (1882-1952) was an English
music hall star who was also heard on radio, and played character roles
in films of the 1930s. She popularized such ditties as "Don't Have Any More,
Missus Moore" and "Why Am I Always a Bridesmaid?" She also toured the Continent,
and performed at the Palace in New York in 1928. Soiled. Light surface creases.
Corners and edges lightly worn. Mounting residue on verso. Otherwise, fine
condition.
