Mary Hampton (ca. 1870-1931) was a stage performer who first began appearing in productions in the New York City area as a teenager. Her determination won her the favor of theatrical manager A. M. Palmer and earned her a place in his theatrical productions. One of her many early successes as she became a star was Agatha, produced by the Boston Museum. Rather than the planned three week run, the show ran for 117 nights due to its popularity. Her Broadway credits include The Man of Destiny (1905), The Man on the Case (1907), and The Lady of the Camellias (1917-1918). Two Items.
