SIMPSON (b. 1947) a two-time All-America from the University of Southern California and the 1968 Heisman Trophy winner, was one of history's most heralded rookies when the Buffalo Bills selected him as the No. 1 player in the entire 1969 draft. In his career record for 11 seasons, Simpson rushed for 11,236 yards, added 2,142 yards on 203 pass receptions, returned 33 kickoffs 990 yards for a superb 30-yard average, and amassed 14,368 combined net yards. He scored 456 points on 76 touchdowns. He was named NFL Player of the Year in 1972, 1973 and 1975. He was both All-AFC and All-Pro five straight years from 1972 through 1976. He played in six Pro Bowls, winning Player of the Game honors in the 1973 game. He was enshrined into the Football Hall of Fame in 1985. O.J. Simpson was accused of the 1994 murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ronald Goldman, and was found not guilty in a hugely publicized trial. He was held liable for their deaths by a jury in a civil suit. Simpson was later convicted of a 2007 robbery in Las Vegas, Nevada. He's serving a jail sentence for this crime as of this biography. AL "A.C" COWLINGS (b. 1947) is a retired professional football player, playing for the Buffalo Bills, Houston Oilers, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers. An average player, Cowlings is best remembered for his close friendship with notorious football player and actor O.J. Simpson, leading to his involvement in the infamous white Bronco car chase following Nicole Simpson's murder in 1994. Reportedly having a gun point to his head and forced to drive, Cowlings drove Simpson in a low-speed police chase to Simpson's house, after which he was charged for aiding a fugitive. Fine condition.
