premiere of the musical Oh, Nellie!, starring Harve Presnell, at the
Circle Arts Theatre, San Diego, Fall Season, 1967. Signed on the printed

(1933-2009), born George Harvey Presnell, also starred in the film
version of the Broadway musical, Paint Your Wagon (1969), in which he
gave a stirring rendition of They Call the Wind Mariah), but he
later appeared in more sinister or serious roles in such films as
Fargo (1996), The Chamber (1996), Face/Off (1997),
Saving Private Ryan (1998), Patch Adams (1998), The Legend of
Bagger Vance (2000), The Family Man (2000), Mr. Deeds (2002),
Old School (2003) and Flags of Our Fathers (2006). Presnell, who
made his TV debut in 1956, would become a regular on several TV
series: Ryan's Hope (as Matthew Crane, 1984), Lois &
Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (as Dr. Sam Lane, 1995-1997),
The Pretender (as Mr. Parker, 1997-2000) and Dawson's
Creek (as Arthur Brooks, 2000-2001). He also appeared in a number of
made-for-TV movies in addition to making guest appearances on a number
of TV series, including a recent visit to ER (2006). Presnell is also
known for being a replacement performer as Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks in the
musical Annie, playing for over 1,000 performances in the role on
Broadway (1977-1983) and on tour. KATHLEEN FREEMAN (1919-2001) made her
first stage appearance at age 3, in her parents' vaudeville act. Once of her
first film roles was as Jean Hagen's frustrated diction coach in Singin' in
the Rain (1952), and she had a recurring role as a frightened maid in the TV
comedy Topper (1953). She was a favorite of comedian Jerry Lewis,
appearing in several of his films. She was nominated for a Tony and won a
Theatre World Award for her performance in The Full Monty in 2001, the
year of her death. STEWART ROSE debuted as a youthful soprano on Uncle
Don's Radio Show. A stalwart of regional theater, Rose has starred in such
musicals as Brigadoon, Camelot and Damn Yankees, among many
roles. He has made frequent TV guest appearances and supporting film roles
(Not with My Wife You Don't, Chamber of Horrors). Fine
