Document signed "Peter Bourne", in blue ink. Blue ink notations in unknown hand. 2 pages, 6x8½, 1 sheet, front and verso. With 6¼x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy with perforated left edge stapled at top edge. January 3, 1959. Membership form for the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists as an actor. Television actor/writer, Peter Bourne (1923-2001) had an acting career that spanned some 30 years and is also credited with writing at least 3 shows. As a bit actor on television, he began uncredited in the early 1950s in Sealed Cargo, Biff Baker, U.S.A., The Last Time I Saw Paris. In the 1960s he appeared as Olaf in North to Alaska (1960), Rawhide (1964), 2 episodes of 12 O'Clock High (1965-1966), Run for Your Life (1967-1968), and Hogan's Heroes (1968). With fewer appearances in the 1970s and 80s, he appeared in Ironside, Quincy M.E., How the West Was Won and received his last credits in 2 episodes of Magnum P.I. (1983-1985). His writing credits were early on Blond in Bondage (1957), 48 Hours to Live (1959), and an episode of The Man from U.N.C.L.E (1967). Lightly toned and creased. Receipt has crease at top edge and carbon copy marks. Otherwise in fine condition.
