PETER SCOLARI
Actor Peter Scolari signed this document twice in 1987 to appear as a presenter at the American Comedy Awards.
Document signed "Peter Scolari" twice and by a representative of George Schlatter Productions. Red ink notations in unknown hand. 3 pages, 8½x11, bound with 1 staple, photocopy. May 1, 1987. Addressed to Thirteenth Street, Inc. c/o Triad Artists, Los Angeles, California attn: Ms. Judy Schoen. Scolari signed this contract to confirm that he would appear as a presenter on the May 18, 1987 American Comedy Awards. His compensation for this appearance was detailed in "Exhibit A", not enclosed. Scolari (1956-2021), has been bosom buddies with then-comic actor Tom Hanks on the TV sitcom Bosom Buddies(1980-1982) and driven comedy legend Bob Newhart crazy as yuppie TV producer Michael Harris on Newhart(1984-1990), a role that earned him three Emmy nominations. But Scolari hasn't shared their fame. He has kept busy, though, with over 80 movie and TV shows and counting to his credit, including recurring roles as Eddie Richie on Baby Makes Five (1983), Warren Moseby on Dweebs (1995), Preston Vogel on the TV cartoon Gargoyles (1995-1996) and  Wayne Szalinski on the TV adaptation of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1997-2000). Scolari was also well cast as a choral leader who tries to integrate his chorus in the 1950s in the TV movie Perfect Harmony (1993) and has appeared twice on Broadway. Lightly toned, stained and creased. Photocopy marks. Staple holes and tear in top left corner. Paper clip impressions near bottom corners. Otherwise in fine condition.
