P.S. YOUR CAT IS DEAD! PLAY CAST
Tony Musante, Keir Dullea, Bill Moor, and three others sign their names on a show bill
for a production of P.S. Your Cat Is Dead!
Show bill signed: "Keir Dullea", "Tony/Musante", "All the best/Mary Hamill",
"Jennifer/Warren", "Regards!/Bill/Moor", "Peter White", 19 pages, 6x9¼. TONY MUSANTE
(1936-2013) received a Drama Desk nomination for P. S. Your Cat is Dead (1975) and an
Emmy nomination for an episode of Medical Center that same year. Since a chilling debut
in Ride with Terror (1963), Musante has often played Mafia bosses and other tough
characters, notably his imprisoned Mafia Don in HBO's Oz (1997-1998). He has
sometimes appeared for the good team, however, including the title role in the series Toma
(1972-1974) and in Police Station (1974-1976). He has made several Italian films, including
the well regarded Spaghetti Western The Mercenary. After honing his acting skills in regional
theater, KEIR DULLEA (b. 1936) made a strong film debut in The Hoodlum Priest (1961),
following it up with David and Lisa in 1962. Dullea's most famous role, however, remains
that of astronaut David Bowman, who battled the Hall 9000 computer and met an
enigmatic fate in 2001: a Space Odyssey, directed by Stanley Kubrick and based on a story
by Arthur C. Clarke. Dullea reappeared as Bowman in 2010, answering many of the
questions lingering from 2001. The Fox, based on a novella by D. H. Lawrence, was released
in 1967, winning a Golden Globe for Best English Foreign Language Film. BILL MOOR
(1931-2007) was an American actor born in Toledo, Ohio. As an actor, Moor spent sixty
years on the stage and screen, beginning with his debut in a production of My Sister Eileen
(1946). Nearly two decades later, Moor made his Broadway debut when he was cast as
Reverend Phelps in the 1964 original production of Blues for Mister Charlie. From that
point on the already seasoned actor busied himself, appearing in over eighteen Broadway
productions (including a starring role in a production of the comedy Heartbreak House
during late 1983 and early 1984), and thirty-one on-screen titles including a small part in It
Ain't Easy (1972), his well-known role as Gressen in Kramer vs. Kramer (1979), and his last
role as the dad in the 2006 short film Snare. Bill Moor passed away on November 27, 2007
at the age of seventy-six. PETER WHITE (1937-2023) took over the role of Lincoln Tyler
of the daytime drama All My Children in 1974, playing that part continuously through
1980 and in occasional episodes through 2005. He has appeared in dozens of TV series from
1965 (Secret Storm) to Cold Case (2007). In films, he has often been cast as a high
government official: Commerce Secretary in Dave (1993), Defense Secretary in
Armageddon (1998) and CIA Director in Thirteen Days (2000). JENNIFER WARREN
(b. 1941), who made her film debut in 1969 in Sam's Song, has made a number of feature
films, including Slap Shot (1977), Ice Castles (1978) and Partners in Crime ( which she also
directed, 2000) and made-for-TV movies and appeared as a guest star on several TV series,
including Cagney & Lacey (1983), Hooperman (1988, 1989) and Murder, She Wrote (1991,
1994). She earned a Theatre World Award for her Broadway debut, 6 Rms Riv Vu (1972),
and was honored by companion publication Screen World in 1975 as a Promising New
Actor. Her You Don't Have to Die won an Oscar in 1989 for Best Short Documentary.
Warren is a founder and former President of The Alliance of Woman Directors. Also
signed by MARY HAMILL (b. 1939) as Janie. Corners slightly worn. Lightly toned. Fine
condition.
