Autograph Sentiment signed in pencil: "Ransom Sherman/[illegible phrase]", 5½x4½ album leaf. Pencil note (unknown hand) at lower edge. Ransom Sherman (1898-1985) hosted a radio show, Club Matinee, from the late 1930s. He played character roles on radio series, including two roles on the popular Fibber McGee and Molly. He appeared in several films of the 1940s, including The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer and Gentleman's Agreement. His TV appearances, beginning with an episode of I Love Lucy in 1953, including a recurring role on Father of the Bride (1961-1962). Toned. Corners lightly worn. Binding holes at left edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
