REUNION IN REO MOVIE CAST: PEGGY DOW and GIGI PERREAU
Shown together with Mark Stevens in a scene from the 1951 film Reunion in Reo in this 6x4 black and white photograph.
Inscribed Photograph signed: "To: Tom/Peggy Dow" and "Gigi Perreau", B/w 6x4. American actress PEGGY DOW was born on March 18, 1928 in Columbia, Mississippi. After making her film debutin Undertow (1949), she enjoyed a short career as a Universal contract player and appeared in nine more films through 1951, including Harvey (1950), I Want You (1951), You Never Can Tell (1951), Reunion in Reo (1951) and Bright Victory (1951). The daughter of French refugees, American actress GIGI PERREAU, born Ghislaine Elizabeth Marie Thérèse Perreau-Saussine in 1941, made her film debut at the tender age of 18 months, when she played Eve Curie in 1943's Madame Curie. Perreau had a busy and successful career as a child actor, with notable performances in My Foolish Heart (1950), Shadow on the Wall (1950) and For Heaven's Sake (1950). But, like most child actors, she couldn't keep her success on the silver screen going when she grew up. Perreau started appearing almost exclusively on TV starting in 1953, with recurring roles on The Betty Hutton Show as Pat Strickland (1959-1960) and on Follow the Sun as Katherine Ann Richards (1961-1962). She all but retired from acting after 1967, with a few acting credits in the 1970's and the new millennium. Fine condition.
